Triple Threat

Blouse: Forever 21 || Oxford top: Old Navy || Vest: vintage || Jeans: Forever 21 || Sandals: Nordstrom Rack || Assorted arm candy

Played around with layers to accommodate to the changing weather throughout the day. From chilly in the morning, to blistering hot in the afternoon, to breezy at night, layers allow me flexibility. I've always wanted to wear a collared long sleeved top like a cardigan, and finally remembered to do so this morning.

What I love about basics is that there are infinite amounts of ways to wear each piece, and the combinations that you can get out of them are endless. Obviously by now, you can tell I love my collared shirts, especially on the boyfriend-fit, baggier side. The androgyny look it gives when worn alone allows you to play around with it, to go from business casual, to feminine and formal.

Never feel constrained. Play around with different combinations until you enjoy what you see and feel comfortable in what you wear. The way you feel in your clothes is just as important as the way you look in them. However, try to jump out of your comfort zone every so often. Who knows, maybe you haven't tried something out yet, and that style becomes your signature look.

  2. Thank you so much! I know what you mean. There are those days where you wake up and know exactly what to wear. Other days you take hours thinking about potential outfits, trying on, and taking off different pieces of clothing. By the way, just checked out your blog and find you absolutely stunning!
